SEDG Cell:
The SEDG Cell is a vital component of our institution, dedicated to ensuring the welfare and support of students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. Our cell works tirelessly to create an inclusive and equitable environment, fostering academic excellence and personal growth among SC/ST students.
Objectives:
- Provide Support and Guidance: Offer academic, personal, and career guidance to SC/ST students, ensuring their overall well-being and success.
- Promote Inclusivity: Foster an inclusive campus environment, promoting diversity, equity, and respect for all students, regardless of their background.
- Address Grievances: Provide a platform for SC/ST students to raise concerns and grievances, ensuring prompt resolution and support.
- Organize Awareness Programs: Conduct awareness programs, workshops, and seminars to promote understanding and appreciation of SC/ST cultures, histories, and contributions.
- Activities:
- Mentorship Programs: Pair SC/ST students with faculty mentors or peer mentors for guidance and support.
- Counseling Services: Provide counseling services to address academic, personal, or emotional challenges faced by SC/ST students.
- Scholarship Assistance: Facilitate access to scholarships, financial aid, and other resources to support SC/ST students' academic pursuits.
